Raziel [Boy of Mischief, Angel of Secrets, God of Thieves] Empty
PostSubject: Raziel [Boy of Mischief, Angel of Secrets, God of Thieves]   Raziel [Boy of Mischief, Angel of Secrets, God of Thieves] EmptyTue Aug 11, 2009 4:34 pm

Name: Raziel
Gender: Male
Age: 16 (Visually)
Birth Date: February 15th
Race: Human
World:
Alignment: Neutral (But leans towards Good frequently)

Appearance:
~Height: 5'6"
~Weight: 128lbs
~Hair: Light Blond
~Eyes: Azure
~Skin Colour: Pale
~Clothing: Refer to Spoiler.
~Other: Raziel carries two straight-edge Wakizashi. The sheathes and hilts to each are simple, black, sleek, and rectangular. The blades are single-toned, of a pure, snow-white. (If you've seen Naruto, they look like Sasuke's sword.) Each is actually a large Fuma shuriken that can be folded and locked into place and function exactly like a sword. And vice versa, unfolded, etc.
Spoiler:

Personality: Raziel is mischievous to the core, though in nothing near a malicious way. He enjoys the thrill of thievery, which often makes him come off as the bad guy; but it's not all about taking something from someone. It's about the risk, and not getting caught. He's quite proud in his stealth skills, as they're nothing to scoff at.

Sarcastic, witty, and sharp-tongued. He enjoys talking circles around people just as much as he does running circles around them. Raziel's the kind of guy who laughs at his own jokes, so long as they amuse him he doesn't care much about the crowd. Ironically enough, despite his inclination towards theft, he possesses a strong, albeit somewhat askew, sense of justice.

History:
It all started with a chilly afternoon in mid-February. The day after Valentines, to be exact, and despite the recent bustling activity and affection of couples' hearts; the Heartless were scarce and borderline nonexistent. Attacks had dropped to one of the lowest rates in a while. But this didn't mean all was still and serene. A thunderous ruckus could be heard from Merlin's little house. The semi-dilapidated, yet oddly cozy, home was in an uproar. Amidst the constant sounds of various things crashing/shattering/crunching/etc within, gut-busting laughter could be heard.

The inside appeared as though it had been struck by almost every natural disaster mother nature had up her sleeve. Books were scattered about (more so than usual), holes were all about the room's floor and walls, the chalkboard beside Cid's computer had been broken in half, Merlin's chair and table were in similar state. Yet amidst all the "carnage" each member of the Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee, save for two, was caught up in a fit of laughter. Leon sat upon the floor with his back to the door, a gloved hand covering his face; yet a grin was still evident. Cid was sprawled out beside his enormous computer, his face turning various shades of red due to lack of breathe, Aerith was seated in the chair which the latter could normally be found giggling softly. Tifa could not bear the sight any longer, resting her head to the wall between the other three Committee members, pounding her fist to it (And consequently creating additional property damage) in wild amusement. Merlin, the cause of this comedic catastrophe, was doubled over on his knees near Tifa, and holding his gut with one hand for fear of it exploding from excessive laughter, while wiping sweat from his snow-white brow with the other.

But what on earth could have sent them into such an uproar? What could possibly be so hilarious? Standing before all these people nearing death by asphyxiation was a male who bore a striking semblance to Cloud, albeit around eight years his junior. He was shorter, bore a more youthful and ever-so-slightly effeminate face with a slightly more slender build. This particular person did not seem so amused, rather he wore quite the scowl; his brows furrowed in annoyance. With his left arm the boy seemed ready to cross both over his chest, yet the right hand immediately went firmly to his hip, the movement looked heavily uncoordinated; which only brought another bout of hysterics from the crowd, Aerith tipping sideways and falling from the chair onto Cid. The grim expression upon the boy's face deepened, and his lips parted to speak. "This isn't-" The boy began in a calm, irritated voice, "This so is not funny!" It almost seemed as if he had interrupted himself, as the interjection seemed of an entirely different tone from an entirely different persona. The latter seemed to put more energy into announcing it's displeasure. By this point Tifa had collapsed to her knees, by this point the Committee was nearly gasping for air.

"Priceless..." The word came muffled from behind the leather glove still pressed to his forehead, as Leon amused himself further with the thoughts of how neither would ever live this down.

"Oh Merlin, can't we keep them like that? Please?" Aerith rolled over from her back, laying upon Cid's chest, and pleaded the ancient wizard; her eyes tearing up from the relentless tickling of her "funny bone", so to speak.

"My dear, I fear if they remain like that much longer, we won't live to reminisce upon this." He chuckled in response, standing up and straightening his wizard hat; although his attire looked more like pajamas than that of a magician. Slowly, and quite visibly reluctant, began to lift his wand toward the two. Err... Boy. The latter's eyes had grown vacant, drained of all color, but a moment later they sparked to life with a brilliant azure, softly glowing. Merlin's, in return, widened.

"Who... Who am I?" There was no stumbling over the speech this time, and what's more was the figure had referred to itself as an "I", not a "We". There swiftly came a so very awkward silence. No one spoke. No one made a sound. Not even a giggle.

An aura of white-gold and blackish-blue enveloped the young male, and two figures shot out of the single body as if someone had hit the eject button. Cloud and Yuffie, to the boy's right and left, staggered and stumbled to their feet in a state of complete disorientation, bewilderment, and confusion. The last two emotions were mirrored within each and every face within that house. The Ex-SOLDIER was the first to move from a state of frozen shock, standing in front of the boy and leaning closer, eye-to-eye; each possessed eyes with the glow of one exposed to massive amounts of Mako.

The examination was cut short when this shorter of the two's eyes fluttered and his legs gave out beneath him, he hit the floor with a "Thud!" and moved not an inch after; passed out cold. Despite the incredibly abnormal situation, the crew wasted no time in laying the boy upon Merlin's bed; Aerith taking charge of his care.

Merlin could not fully comprehend the phenomenon that had just occurred, but explained to Leon and co. the most viable theory he could come up with. Starting from the beginning, he explained that the spell that had merged Cloud and Yuffie together was still imperfect and he hadn't come to a complete understanding of it yet (An admission that earned him a black eye, courtesy of Yuffie), and perhaps the mingling and subsequent parting of two strong-willed hearts had birthed another, entirely new one and thus, more or less, created a new life. As he neared the end of his explanation, Merlin carefully worded what he would say next.

"...Which would, effectively, mean the pair of you... Gave birth to that child over there." The old, bearded Mage finished, staring levelly into the eyes of each member of said "pair". In response, both of their jaws dropped (In quite the traditional Anime overreaction fashion), while Yuffie brought her fist down forcefully upon the wizard's brain case.

"Come again?" Cloud asked.

"What?! This is YOUR fault, gramps! Take responsibility!" Yuffie demanded.

Months later [Consider this my RP sample]

It was a black night, the stars hid behind the ominous black clouds thick in the sky, the crescent moon cast it's light upon what had once been known as Hollow Bastion, the sky-hung pearl bathing the Bailey in a radiant, pale glow. A gentle, crisp breeze swept through the area, caressing lightly the cheeks of the sole figure that deigned to stroll atop the outer wall at such a late hour, during such a dangerous time. Each step was slow, imprecise, and absentminded; his eyes narrow while his mind drifted to the earlier event. The faces of Leon and the rest flashing fleetingly through his mind, one after another. Each expression wore a myriad of emotions. "What were you thinking?!" Anger from the lips, "Yer forbidden t'leave without a Guardian." Reprimand from the tone, "Do you have any idea what could have happened to you...?" Relief and fear torturously intertwined in the eyes. Eyes he couldn't meet with a gaze longer than a heartbeat.

It had been a couple months since they had taken him on off the streets and helped him recover somewhat from his amnesia, and Raziel would forever be grateful. They were like-- No, they were family, but... They couldn't keep treating him like a child forever. It had only been a minor slip up, so what? He refused to accept just how much that "minor slip up" had come close to costing him. How much it had come close to costing the others...

His thoughts were interrupted by a fleeting movement a few feet before him, as something dark slithered across the walkway; two round eyes shining with an eerie glow in the dark. In the blink of an eye it lunged forward, swiping a gnarled claw at the boy's legs. Frightened and caught off guard, Raziel made to jump backward but instead stumbled and fell; into a ring of six more Shadows.

"Cloud!" Yuffie hissed, panic and worry brewing noticeably in her voice as she watched the events unfold from a nearby rooftop. She turned to eye the silent, stoic figure cloaked in black at her side; her hand gripping the man's sleeve tightly. She had insisted upon intervening far before this point, as Raziel had run away from the house after what had transpired earlier that day; and she felt a harsher scolding was needed. No response came from the ex-SOLDIER, and she began to step forward when the arm she'd been clutching to barred her path.

"Wait." He commanded, his glowing blue eyes still glued to the scene up on the rampart.

"What!?" The Kunoichi glared, this was no time to be playing games; this was dangerous.

"Look at him. You'll see." At his words, Yuffie's head whipped back to the teen surrounding by Heartless.

Raziel had risen, his feet sliding apart deliberately into stance. Gone was the trembling and surprised youth just moments ago; he held himself like a seasoned warrior. The Shadow that made the first strike once more made a short lunge forward, only to be sent skidding when Raziel's foot caught it under the jaw in a backflip kick. The circle of Heartless disappeared, they were nowhere to be seen upon the walkway. All in unison they had jumped high into the air, preparing to swarm and maul the mouth-watering heart, but he was ready. Ending the flip at a handstand, he performed a splits when they came into range; turning in place on his hands at a high velocity to greet the Heartless with a barrage of spinning kicks, sending them airborne once more. While still on his hands, the left reached to the black, metallic rectangular object strapped horizontally to his lower back while the right pushed him off the ground and into the air. Within his left hand was now a wakizashi gripped firmly, but with a quick, violent jerk of the hand it unfolded into a large shuriken-esque weapon. Twisting his body midair to get momentum behind his arm, Raziel hurled the weapon at the Shadows before landing softly on his feet. The weapon arced widely to the left, tearing through the air and suddenly veering back on path, slicing through five of the six remaining Shadows, one flung over the castle wall, before they vanished on a plume of darkness.

The shuriken curved back towards Raziel, and he caught it by the center with practiced skill as he sprinted towards the last remaining Heartless; another flick of the wrist and it was once more folded into the semblance of a sword. The ill-fated creature had barely regained it's feet when Raziel was just a few feet away, and frantically swiped at him in desperation, but with fluid, acrobatic agility the boy once more took to the skies, raising the wakizashi over head with both hands as it gleamed in the moonlight, only to bring it crashing down with a tremendous force, cleaving the Shadow from head to toe; down the center. The halves fell apart before vanishing in a wisp of a shroud.

With a grin, a smug one at that, the boy sheathed his blade and marveled at his "unmatched skills."

"He moves a lot like you."

"He fights a lot like you."
