~Nobody Type: Sleepwalkers - strange nobodies that stagger around lazily as they walk, making them appear similar to Dusks in a way. However, they can easily disappear and reappear in another position, enabling them to be quite skilled in stunning an opponent. Once they stun their enemy, they stop the staggering act and launch themselves in, using bladed fingertips to cause severe damage with the precision of an assassin.
Personality: Quiet and shy, Xuati always finds comfort in his solitude. He is rather distrustful of others, and will sooner pretend that you are not there than greet you for the first time. He does, however, long for friends and other comforts of the heart, even though he doesn't have one, though he isn't quite sure how to go about it. Thus, he is rather conflicted and awkward.
History: Originally a blind boy named, Taiu, he was a verbal punching bag, and was bullied almost regularly until he came across a pair of magical glasses that allowed him to see again. Overjoyed by this, Taiu then buried himself into the wonders of books, and the sights that surrounded him. However, this didn't solve his bullying problems in the slightest and he would fear the next day he went to school, unsure of what they were going to do to him next. Until, that is, darkness overwhelmed the world and he lost his heart in the terrors that surrounded him.
When he awoke next, he was in a town that lay within the gentle embrace of night, and the buildings that surrounded him each maintained a star and moon motif. Each of the inhabitants that mulled about carried a different air to them, which suggested that they each came from
a different place. He wandered about for a while, coming across Heartless, and discovering how to use his powers bit by bit. That is, until he was found by someone from Organization XIII and he joined their ranks.
RP Sample: Xuati sighed as he walked through the halls of the castle. He was assigned to the task of creating Heartless and gathering any Nobodies that resulted, which was a job he had never really liked. He would rather go clean the whole castle from top to bottom with a toothbrush than this. Even though he didn't really like people, it was too much for him. He was practically killing them, after all, and it wasn't like too many would become more than a lowly Dusk, anyhow. He entered the Proof of Existance and walked over to the portal to his room, Hell's Lullabye. He sighed as he entered the room, which had books and other things laying in neat little piles throughout the room, as it was obvious he had never named it. Though, it suited perfectly, and the thought of that sent shudders down his spine. The things he could create and what he did to people...
Shaking his head violently to free himself from that train of thought, the black-haired boy immediately hurried through the room, gathering some potions to stuff in his pockets, among some other things he thought he would need. However, as he put a potion in his pocket, his
fingers brushed against the frames of the glasses that sat within. Slowly, he withdrew the object and stared at them hard, a sad frown marring his features. He couldn't remember anymore what it was like to have a heart. He pursed his lips and gently clenched his hand around the frames before he set them down on a shelf somewhere. They were his most precious possession, and he didn't want anything to happen to them, should something stronger than him appear and cause the Heartless to attack him.
Turning away from the frames, he then held out his hand, darkness responding to his call and swirling around itself until it became a portal to his destination. Inhaling deeply, he pulled his hood over his head and face and walked through. On the other side, there was sun. It appeared like late afternoon in the world, so there was some shadows, but it wasn't quite sunset yet. It was a perfect time to do what he had to do. He walked through an alleyway until he came across an area that had an okay amount of people walking about. Slowly, and somewhat shakily, he raised his gloved hand, targeting a rather irritated looking teenager leaning against one of the shady walls. All he really needed to do was create one, and it'd set off a chain, after all. Suddenly, large spiders erupted from the ground, and the wall, and they began to hiss at him as they prepared to jump at him.
"Waahh!" the teen yelled in fright as he leapt away from the wall, startling a few of the other people around him.
"Are... you all right?" someone asked, staring at the teen worriedly.
"S-Spiders!" he replied, pointing at the wall. "Big, black, spiders, and they're coming for me!"
The person looked over to the wall and then shook their head. Obviously, they weren't scared of spiders, otherwise they, too, would've seen them. "Sorry, but I don't see anything. Are you sure you're okay?"
"What?! Don't you see them?! They're right there! They're right--AHH!" the teen was cut off as a spider leapt onto his face and prepared to sink its venomous fangs into his flesh. Immediately, the teen began to thrash about wildly, knocking the spider down before he began to fiercely stomp on it.
Xuati watched this carefully, assessing the extent of the fear within the teen and the primal drive the fear arose. It hinted at the possible strength of the Heartless that would be born in a few moments. He then looked at the puzzled bystander and used his ability, not to scare him, but involve him in this.
The teen then looked at the person, going pale in the face as he saw dozens of tiny spiders crawling all over him, threatening to jump over. "Y-You... You're with them?!"
The stranger was taken aback. "W-With them?! What..." he began to ask, but then stopped short as black beetles began to crawl down from the teens hair, sleeves, and pants, trying to make their way to him. "W-What...?" He didn't have time to speak as the teen, obviously in a frenzy by now, launched himself at the stranger, smacking him, and the spiders, and knocking him into a wall. It wouldn't be long now, Xuati noted to himself.
"Augh!!" the man cried out as he was struck, his face and back stinging from the attack. He then glared up at the bug-infested teen. With an angry roar, he leapt up and punched the teen in the face, intitating a rather large fight between the two, in which there was much biting and hair pulling.
Xuati sighed, knowing that it was now time. He held out his hand and he looked at the fighting pair with slightly sad, violet eyes. "Sorry," he muttered softly before all the spiders and beetles vanished, and the pair were violently knocked away from each other by a giant beetle and a giant spider. They stared up at the monstrous creatures before scrambling to their feet and trying to run. But, it was too late. The creatures had them pinned in a matter of moments before they opened their mouths and lowered as if to bite into them...That was when they succumbed, the darkness that had formed the nightmares melting away as the shadows enveloped the two, transforming them as their hearts were taken by their own darkness. In their places was a single Lancer Heartless.
Xuati sighed and stared at the Heartless he had created with hollow eyes. "There... Now to find the Nobodies..." he muttered, just wanting to get away from the newborn Heartless as fast as he could. There was something about causing others to suffer that way that bothered him deeply. However, as he looked about, trying to find the newborn Nobodies, the Lancer suddenly twitched and then turned, launching itself at him, it's lance ready to impale him.
"W-Wha..?!" he cried out in surprise, immediately summoning his weapon, a set of elegant bladed tanto, and blocking the attack, sending the Lancer flying backward. Now, since Lancers were notorious for not getting along with the lance too well, he used the moment to rush forward, twirling his tanto as he moved, before he swung his arm, slashing at the Heartless, while it was incapable of attacking him. It stumbled backward from the attack, which gave the violet-eyed Nobody the chance to swing his other arm, trying to severely damage it before the lance returned to its hands.
The heartless was knocked back once more and it shook itself, trying to recover from the fierce assault. It then recovered its lance and lanched itself at him again, obviously not having liked being hurt at all. However, Xuati was waiting for it.
He quickly moved to the side, using one arm to redirect the lance's attack, before he launched himself at the Heartless, unleashing a series of swift, yet mighty, slashes to it before he spun around and drove both of his tanto in to its middle, sending it flying.
The Lancer landed roughly on the ground, the lance landing next to it. However, instead of getting up and resuming the assault on the Nobody, it simply desolved into the darkness that had given birth to its very existance.
Xuati watched solemly, the tantos held firmly at his side. He couldn't help but feel bad for the fellows he had turned into Heartless, only to have to destroy them like that. But, something wasn't right. Normally, when around something stronger than itself, a Heartless obeys, which meant that something, or someone, stronger than him was around, which was very unsettling to the black-haired boy. He spun around several times, looking around for the person that had manipulated the heartless, only to find himself rewarded by a rather hearty, yet dark, laugh.
"Bravo, little Nobody," said a voice, accompanied by a short few claps. Xuati looked up and saw a figure standing on the roof of a building. But, since it was obscured by the setting sun, no definite features could be made out.
"Who... Who are you?" Xuati asked, a little more loudly than he would have rathered. But the stranger still needed to hear him, after all.
"Ah, ah! And ruin all the fun of watching you find out? I can't do that, you know," the stranger replied, shaking a finger tauntingly at Xuati. It was more than obvious by the tone of voice that they were amused by him. "Well, I have to go, now. Bye-bye! Continue being interesting!" With that, the stranger ran off and disappeared, leaving Xuati to stand there, wondering just what in the worlds just happened.
He stared up at the rooftop where the...person had been in utter and complete confusion, his tanto hanging at his sides before disappearing. "What... was that about...?" he muttered aloud before he began to look around again. If there had been any Nobodies, they sure as heck weren't around anymore. "...Man..." Sighing heavily, the small Nobody then withdrew back into the alley, heading back to the Castle That Never Was. Even if he was empty handed, he may as well as report what had happened.
