| Name: Gabriel Cruxis Gender: Male Age: 17 Birth Date: December 25 Race: Human World: Unknown (He doesn’t remember)/ Traverse Town Alignment: Good
Appearance: ~Height: 5’ 11“ ~Weight: 175 Lbs. ~Hair: Black, with gray tips, spiky. ~Eyes: Silver. The right eye’s pupil changes constantly in shape. Often, it conveys his mood…or perhaps even a message on his journey. ~Skin Colour: Caucasian, Slight Tan ~Clothing: Wears a pair of black pants, a gray shirt with a white star cross design in the center, and a black long-sleeve coat that shares the same design on the back. He wears a pair of white runners. ~Other: There are times be his right arm is prone to turn corrupted (static noise). See his history below for more details.
Personality: Somewhat lazy and sloppy, maintaining an appearance is the least of his worries in a list of priorities. Rather, what is on his priority is eating good food, playing games, and just hanging out without any care in the world. Very friendly and kind, he also tends to be very forward and blunt with what he says, which gets him into trouble. Gabriel, while he doesn’t prefer to fight, will stand up to anyone who threatens him or his friends. If there is one weakness he could name, it’s his ability to care too much. Should he find himself powerless to help someone, he often blames himself for not being strong enough.
There are strange moments, however, when his personality may shift. He becomes much more of a jerk, and seems to say very hateful things. You can tell when his mood shift occurs based on his right eye’s pupil. If it starts changing shape in an erratic manner, then chances are he’s undergoing a mood shift.
History:
Gabriel Cruxis is an individual who has a sever case of amnesia, only remembering his name and birthday. The last thing he remembered before waking up in a new location was a strange dream. He was floating in a cold empty space, unable to use his senses. The only thing he could sense was static, as well as an omnipresent force that announced to him that his journey as a keybearer would soon begin. It told him that he would have to go forth with this journey if he wanted to learn about his past.
The teen then woke up from this dream, in a location that he couldn’t recognize: an inn at a town called Traverse Town. He was found in an alley by an old couple that owned the inn. Grateful for what they did for him, he decided to help run the inn, in exchange for a home and for food. He thinks of the couple as his grandparents, even referring to them as such in respect and admiration. Things seemed to be going well…that was until a strange night that things changed.
He found himself coming home one, in which he saw a helpless person attacked by black beasts, known as Heartless in the square where the clock tower was. He tried to help the person, but it was too late: the darkness had claimed him. Feeling helplessness and fear, he felt as if time started to slow, the Heartless closing in on his location. However, as they approached, he felt warmth inside of him that gave him hope, gave him purpose.
The instant the Heartless closed in on him, he swung his right arm, in which a golden symmetrical keyblade appeared before him, granting him the power to become a keyblader. Using this newfound power, he easily dispatched the Heartless. However, in the dissolving shadows rose up 3 small imp-like figures, each one wearing a jester’s coxcomb. It was as if these 3 creatures were made out of… static noise.
He felt something change in himself as these three attacked him. His right arm, during the battle, also became that of static noise. The Keyblade also seemed to change, as the right arm wielded it. He felt his attack style change, granting him different way to attack his opponent, going all out. He was able to defeat these 3 noise-like jesters.
Since then, he’s always felt something different about his arm. Inspecting it in the mirror, it appeared normal. However, as he washed his face, he noticed his right eye’s pupil was…different. It changed into the shape of what appeared to be a jester’s head. He knew from then on things would always be different. His journey has just begun.
RP Sample: I remember floating in an empty space. Time seemed indefinitely frozen. I couldn’t move, I couldn’t speak, I couldn’t hear, nor could I see. I wasn’t even sure if I was breathing or not. The only thing I could do was think. I was alone, with nothing but my thoughts accompanying me. I asked myself, ‘What was I doing here? What happened? Am I alive? Am I dead?’
It occurred to me…I didn’t even know who I am at the moment. The only thing I remembered is my age and my name: 17, Gabriel Cruxis. Even a name and an age is nothing more than a word and a number, though. I don’t remember anything about my past, what my real identity is, about who I AM…or rather, who I was. Not where I lived, not my family or friends, or what my dreams may have been. All that was there was a headache…a throbbing headache.
Soon, all my senses started to feel…distorted. In my head, all I could hear was static. All I could hear was a buzzing noise that wouldn’t go away, as if I were stuck in some television without a connection. Soon, my eyesight was clouded with noise. My body felt as if it were being pulled apart, as if it were breaking apart, particle-by-particle. I thought that I was going to die, that I was going to vanish right there. However…it was then that I heard a voice. It said:
“Your Journey is just beginning young one. Follow the path of the Fool’s Journey, and seek out the truth about your life and your existence. It was not an accident that you came here. Along with others, you bear the key that allows you to unlock your path. With that key, you must find order. With your arm, you must bring chaos. Your existence is that of unlimited possibility. The question is, will your actions save everyone…or will it cause the ruination of everything?”
I tried to respond to it. I tried to speak aloud, but found that nothing but static came from my mouth. I tried to ask, “Who are you?”
As if this omnipotent presence could sense what I was trying to ask, it answers me. It tells me, “I am The World. If you wish to seek the truth, then seek me out.”
With that last answer, my senses began fading once more. I…I don’t understand what this being is saying. I could no longer think coherently. The only thing that I could think of…was sleep.

| “No…no! Why!? Why did this happen?!” Gabriel shouted at the group of strange black creatures, trembling as he felt several things: fear, despair, anguish. He stood, in the cold dead night, facing off against strange four black creatures that just attacked an innocent person. Now they were after him. As this solid black Shadows closed in on the black-haired teen, he could only think of how helpless he was in this situation. Moreover, he felt despair for the person that lost his life and became one of these shadows. “I’m sorry…I’m sorry…I couldn’t help you…”
As the creatures approached him, Gabriel gritted his teeth, wondering what’s going to happen to him now. It was then that something donned on him. ‘The dream…that dream! The dream where the voice said…my journey is soon to begin. I…I don’t know…what he was talking about…but…he talked about me having a key to unlock my path. No…I can’t fall here. I can’t let these things kill me. I…I have to do something!’
The black-haired teen felt a surge of warm power coursing through his body, as one of the Shadows jumped at him, bearing its claws. “No…I won’t fall!” Gabriel announced, his resolution giving him strength as he swung his right arm instinctively, holding onto what he felt was a handle of a weapon. As he swung, a golden light shimmered, cutting the shadow in half. The shadow sunk into a black puddle, in which a red heart rose up and vanished, as if it were liberated from the darkness.
Gabriel took a glance at what he was holding: a strange blade that resembled a golden key that had symmetrical teeth. “…this…is the key?” he asked himself, in which the other three shadows jumped up at him, obviously displeased with the opposition of his heart. As if it were instinct, he jumped back, parrying the claw attacks that the minute black creatures sent out. It was as if he could read them. ‘I see. So it’s my job to set you poor creatures free.’ Without any more hesitation, he went on the offensive, pushing the shadows back.
He spun around, striking all the Shadows in their head with his new keyblade. The three shadows screeched as Gabriel proceeded to cut them down to size, freeing three more red hearts from the blackness. The black-haired teen took several deep breaths, feeling the adrenaline running through his body as he glanced at his keyblade. “The Envoy or Order,” he whispered, looking at his new weapon. “That is what you’re called…isn’t it?” he asked the blade, smiling a bit. Its not like he expected this inanimate object to respond, but the name he stated felt so natural, as if it came to him.
However, any serenity that he felt at that moment came to a halt. He felt a new chill down his spine as he looked down, observing the dissolving pools of darkness. From three of the Shadow’s vanishing bodies came three peculiar creatures. They were short, and they looked like they were each wearing a jester’s coxcomb. However…the most defining characteristic these new creatures had were the fact that their bodies were made of what appeared to be static noise. All of them giggled in a devilish manner, setting their sights on Gabriel.
The first one jumped up at Gabriel, actually turning itself into an axe as it tried to cleave the keyblader into two. The black-haired teen fixed his silver eyes on the movements, jumping back and barely dodging the attack. The other two creatures jumped towards Gabriel, with the right one transforming itself into a sword and the left one transforming into a hammer. ‘No…I can’t dodge it in time. There’s no way I can avoid it! They’re approaching too fast!’ Gabriel thought, closing his eyes as he prepared for contact.
“…Envoy…of Chaos…” Gabriel muttered, his eyes opening and widening as those words escaped his lips. Before he knew it, his right arm felt funny, as if the skin were being pulled off. However, there was no pain. Gabriel glanced at his arms, feeling a loss of breath as he noticed his arm had changed in a drastic manner. The shape was there, but instead of flesh, the only thing that was there was an arm that was formed by static noise. With it, the golden keyblade that he carried was no longer there. Instead, it was a dull gray jagged key that had an aura of static around it.
‘What is…going on? Tch…I’ll ask questions later. There’s still something I need to do,’ the teen stated, resuming his focus on the two enemies that lunged forth at him. With an incredible boost of speed, he dove off to the side, dodging his jester enemies. The three noise creatures regrouped into their original form, each of them charging at Gabriel once more.
“I’m afraid this is where we must part. Goodbye…” Gabriel said, unable to see his own right eye’s pupil changing shapes: into that of a jester’s head. With incredible speed, he slashed several times. With each slash, he felt himself growing tired, his energy being consumed at an incredible right. By the time he was done, the enemy dissolved in the air, the noise vanishing.
The black-haired teenager felt his body’s energy drain. It was as if his right arm was responsible, sucking in the teen’s energy. “What…what is this? What’s wrong here? What happened… to my arm?” he asked aloud, hoping someone would be able to answer him. Unfortunately, his answer was met with something unexpected: a roar.
Slowly, the teen turned around; sweat dripping down his forehead as he saw something new emerging from the last shadow puddle. First, what appeared to be a pair of paws surfaced from the puddle, digging its sharp claws into the ground. Like the jesters before, these claws were made out of noise.
“Great…what now?” Gabriel asked in exasperation. “Can’t you guys gimme a break? At least once?” he asked, knowing the answer would probably in the form of sharp claws digging into his skin. He prepared himself, watching the new creature pull itself out of the puddle. When it was fully emerged, Gabriel couldn’t help but feel intimidated.
The beast resembled that of a rather large four-legged creature, like that of a lion. However, he couldn’t discern what it was though due to the beast’s nature of being static noise. It seemed like a lion, but it had attributes of other creatures. He noticed the front right claw was thicker, more bear-like, while the front left claw seemed like a massive feline paw. It had the head of what looked like a lion, but it also had deformed wings on its back. Its tail was the most peculiar part though; it resembled that of a lizard’s tail. To make matters worse…it was pulling what appeared to be a pure black solid gladiator’s chariot, with the wheels adorned with jagged blades.
“…Oh shit…” Gabriel stated, readying himself for battle once more. ‘Ok…ok…he just looks big and scary. I’m…I’m pretty sure he’s all bark and no bite.’
The beast let out a loud roar, in which something strange happened to Gabriel. He suddenly felt a bit weaker, feeling as if he were vulnerable. ‘W-what?!’ He thought, glaring at the beast, which prepared itself to charge forth and rip him to shreds. ‘That roar somehow weakened me!’ Gabriel growled, his silver eyes fixed on the chariot-pulling beast.
It charged at Gabriel, readying to dig into its claws into the keyblader. Gabriel growled, performing a jump to the right side as he dodged the monster’s claws, readying to strike. As in response though, the beast did something completely unexpected. It dug its claws into the ground, swinging its body to the right, along with the chariot. Before he knew it, Gabriel felt the massive weight of the chariot smashing into him, flying back and hitting a wall. He was severely lucky the blades of the wheels didn’t pierce him
Gabriel coughed and wheezed, feeling intense pain in his left side. “Tch…who said…animals were stupid creatures?” he asked himself, observing his arm. At the last second, it changed back into a solid flesh arm, and the keyblade returned to the normal. ‘…I see. This arm…it changes the way I can move and attack. With this keyblade, I feel strong and heavy, as if I can defend attacks with ease. When it’s all static though, I feel faster and lighter. The arm must have switched back to normal in order to lessen the damage…’
Gabriel slowly stood up, the beast snarling as it prepared to charge at him again. He ignored any pain in his left arm, holding his keyblade up as he prepared to combat the beast once more. The beast charged, roaring as it stopped, swinging the chariot in an attempt to smash the black-haired teen. “Not this time!” Gabriel announced, his arm once again turning into static, changing the keyblade’s design as well. With fgreat agility, he jumped up high, dodging the cart as he came down, piercing the keyblade in the back of the beast.
The destructive creature cried out in pain, trying to shake Gabriel of his back. “Goodbye. Let’s hope that we don’t meet again!” the young keyblader announced, slashing at the back of the beast’s head, decapitating it. Gabriel jumped off, watching the beast dissolve in thin air in a cloud of static noise.
Surreal: that would be the word that Gabriel would use to describe this moment that happened. As if nothing occurred, he took a look at his right arm. It was completely normal, skin and all. ‘I…I think…I’m going crazy. Did all of that happen?’ he thought to himself, as he looked at his right hand. The fingers, for a moment, flickered with static noise before returning to normal. However, he still felt pain in his upper left torso, taking a deep breath. “No. That pain is real. I…I think I need rest. Yeah…rest sounds good now…it really does…” Just like that dream of his from before, the only thing he could think of now is sleep.

| Yeah, I was right. Totally epic. XD
Strange case, yes... but I think we can asume that his body's natural ability to fight can be placed in his forgotten past. And as for that interesting arm of his... though COULD be a problem for him later, but still. Accepted.
